Beauty Review: Joe Fresh Beauty

I recently attended the launch of Joe Fresh Beauty’s arrival at Shoppers Drug Mart at Artscape Sandbox. I had the chance to see the new beauty products up close and the look and feel of them are clean, modern and of course, fresh! The vast collection includes seasonal colours and products for face, cheeks, eyes and lips. With prices ranging from just $8 to $18, the collection is affordable and accessible to individuals on a tight budget.

Courtney Kelly is a beauty advisor and talented makeup artist who did makeup touch-ups at the event. She showed me how to accentuate my high cheekbones by blending Highlighting Powder ($8) on my cheeks, which added luminosity to my skin. Joe Fresh Beauty also provides a step-by-step guide for mastering the five-minute face. It’s simple and quick and anyone can do it!

The product lineup also includes the Daily Boost Fluid Foundation ($18), which is a hydrating formula that is loaded with antioxidants. I use argan oil everyday and was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Hydra Lash Nourishing Mascara ($12) is enriched with it.

I love that a respected brand like Joe Fresh is both Canadian and affordable. What’s more is that all of the products are cruelty-free, which increases my admiration for the brand.
