Love a good smoothie?

This Peanut Butter + Jelly recipe has been my go-to on busy mornings and there’s minimal clean-up. I use the single serving size on this Ninja Blender, pop the to-go cap on it and away we go. This recipe makes one serving, but you could double it easy and make more.

What I love about this recipe is that the ‘jelly’ comes from whole, natural and organic mixed berries. It’s perfect when paired up with the saltiness of the peanut butter. The rolled oats gives the whole thing a bit of texture too.

Peanut Butter Jelly Smoothie

Peanut Butter + Jelly Protein Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries, organic if possible
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla Vega protein powder, or one of your choice
  • 1 tablespoons of rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter, smooth

 

PREPARATION

  1. Place the berries and almond milk into your blender first and blend down first
  2. Add protein powder, peanut butter, rolled oats and a little bit of water if your smoothie is too thick.
  3. Blend again. Add more water if you want a thinner smoothie
  4. Sprinkle with a few more oats if you’d like. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
